Before you start looking around for a location for your upcoming brand shoot, here are some things to keep in mind.
Overall Vibe - We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: your brand shoot should capture your brand and showcase your personality. The first way to bring this vision to life is by selecting a location that is an extension of your brand, whether it’s your office, downtown, or a studio space.
Lighting - Having a well-lit space is the key to natural-looking brand photos! If you’re choosing a location that’s indoors, make sure the space has lots of windows. If you’ll be outside, avoid any harsh light.
Furniture - Consider what furniture is relevant to your shoot. Do you need kitchen space, a simple sofa or chair, a bed, or even an office space? Keep these in mind when scouting locations.
Colors - Are the colors of the location cohesive with your brand colors and what you’ll be wearing for your shoot?

Old Town Fort Collins
If you’re looking for an easy outdoor location, Old Town Fort Collins is one of our favorites! With several patios, seating areas, and lush greenery, it’s a great area to take headshots and capture images of you working and on the go.
Sunrise Studio in Loveland and Downtown Loveland
A natural light photography studio in Loveland, this space is one of our favorites to shoot in! If you are looking for a studio with natural tones and different spaces to switch your images up (think living spaces, a conference room, and an office set up!), this is your spot.
Sugarhill Studio in Longmont
Another fabulous natural light studio, Sugarhill features tall ceilings, gorgeous light, and a lot of space. If you need a lot of furniture and props to play with, this studio is a great option. Plus, there’s a fun statement wall and colored backdrop we love taking advantage of!
Downtown Greeley
Downtown Greeley is one of our favorite locations to recommend to clients that want an outdoor location for their brand photography session. The area has a great variation in backdrops, making it easy to find a spot that works for you and your brand!

Are you a realtor or have a lifestyle brand? Have brand images inside of a home will help to tell your brand’s story but we get it - we don’t all have homes that are decorated to perfection. In this case, model homes are always a great option! The finishes are always impeccable and you don’t have to worry about clutter.
